Jan 25 - Spurs confirm deal with Danjuma
Will it be a second time the charm of Arnaut Danjuma when it comes to the Premier League?
Danjuma arrives on loan to Spurs until the end of the season. He has been playing a lot as a centre-forward and may give Harry Kane a rest, but he will also be very happy to move to the left flank.
The Bournemouth winger scored 10 times last season in La Liga and has netted six times in 11 UEFA Champions League games, including ties against Juventus and Bayern Munich.
The 25-year-old has six goals in 17 appearances in all competitions for Villarreal this season. (NEW MEXICO)
Jan.24 - Will Danjuma make a U-turn and join Spurs?
Arnaut Danjuma appeared to be heading from Villarreal to Everton, but the Dutch winger may be returning too late. Danjuma, 25, has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs and looked set to join the Toffees on loan. Despite Frank Lampard being sacked, Danjuma was still expected to sign for Everton, but our UK colleagues at Sky Sports say he is now heading to Tottenham for talks and has been scheduled for a medical on Tuesday night. Danjuma would be a solid player for Tottenham and we have seen flashes of brilliance from him at Bournemouth and also at Villarreal. Antonio Conte wanted to sign some extra coverage in the attack zones and it seems that he is going to achieve it. (JPW)

Jan 23 - Kane 'open' to new contract talks at Tottenham
Harry Kane is interested and open to talks with Tottenham about a new contract at the club. The 29-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Manchester United in the past, but now he seems to have passed a move to the former after the arrival of Erling Haaland. According to a report by David Ornstein, Kane and Spurs will be in talks in early February on a new deal and his priority is "to have success with Tottenham." he left but was unable to force a departure as Spurs demanded a huge transfer fee (and rightly so) for the star star of his. Although Spurs are struggling at the moment, losing ground in the first four races and Antonio Conte's future as boss is uncertain, having Kane sign a new contract would at least give Spurs fans some good news as they will know that Kane will be present. score 20-25 goals per season, at least for the next few years. Jan 12 - Spurs offer $14 million for Trossard
Football.London has a very Spurs-like report that Tottenham 'verbally offered' $14m for Leandro Trossard after the Brighton man expressed a desire to leave the Amex Stadium.
Trossard has reportedly fallen out with Seagulls boss Roberto De Zerbi and Brighton want between $25-30m for the playmaker.
Spurs getting Trossard for under $20m would be a good risk at worst and an absolute coup at best, as the Belgian has done great things for Brighton. Playing with a focal point like Harry Kane can take it to the next level. (NEW MEXICO)
January 9: Trossard and Raya linked to Spurs
Tottenham are linked with the transfers of Leandro Trossard and David Raya as they look to strengthen their line-up. In accordance withthe Telegraph,Brentford and Spain goalkeeper Raya, 27, is seen as the long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris. The French captain recently signed a contract extension, but Lloris, 36, has been linked with a move from Tottenham in recent years. According to the report, Raya will become the main target of the Spurs goalkeeper in the summer, and he is a good shooter and is very good at playing the ball from behind with his feet.
As for Trossard, it looks like a deal that could go down in January.el Daily Mailclaim Spurs are among a number of clubs, including Chelsea, set to move to the Belgian striker. Trossard, 28, is out of contract at Brighton next summer and did not feature in the win against Everton or the 5-1 win over Middlesbrough in the FA Cup. It looks like a move this month could be possible as Brighton look to win back some money for their talented winger/back. Trossard has added goals and assists to his game over the last 12 months and has been a key part of Graham Potter's success as a hybrid full-back. However, Roberto De Zerbi could use Kaoru Mitoma in that role and Brighton will look to trade Trossard in January. Spurs need to upgrade their wing potions and if Trossard moves to the left he will allow Ivan Perisic to play further up the pitch. Alternatively, Trossard is also comfortable playing as a winger or attacking midfielder and has proven his worth in the Premier League. Is he the type of player who can turn the Spurs into a guaranteed top four team? Probably not. Is it a high-quality addition with the potential to be a perfect fit? He is. (JPW)
December 29 – Tottenham, manchester unitedOpen talks with Rennes for Martin Terrier
Yes, Tottenham just spent a lot of money on Richarlison, a famous left-back, but would Martin Terrier's versatility make him a great option to compete with the Brazilian and Heung-min Son?
The Rennes striker scores for freeTerrier is the target of Tottenham and Manchester Unitedas both clubs opened discussions with the Ligue 1 outfit over the 25-year-old. Price tag? It supposedly starts at around $38 million.
Terrier regularly scored and assisted in France's top flight. He scored 21 goals last season and has eight in 14 appearances this season. The left winger can also play as a center forward, among other positions. He has scored three Europa League goals this campaign and has also provided 11 assists in all competitions since the start of last season.
Very strong in the passing game and very good in the combo game, Terrier posted impressive xG and xA numbers and can be combined with Kane but also replace the exhaustively used CF. He may be a better fit for Spurs, but could Manchester United be more willing to spend to sign him? (NEW MEXICO)

Jul 27 - Tottenham still have hope according to McKennie
Weston McKennie has been linked with a move to Tottenham an estimated 1,752 times in the last 12 months andel Daily Mailare saying once again that the USMNT star could leave Turin for North London. According to the report, the Spurs are willing to pay up to $41 million for the Texas native. McKennie, 23, was signed by Juventus by former sporting director Fabio Paratici, who now holds the same position at Spurs. Antonio Conte wants to strengthen his options in midfield and McKennie would fit almost perfectly in midfield in Conte's aggressive and mobile 4-3-3 system. His versatility also stands out as an important factor for Conte.
But there is a twist. There is always a twist. With superstar Paul Pogba returning to Juventus this summer and hoping to build on the many minutes McKennie was previously getting, Pogba has just picked up a knee injury in pre-season. That requires surgery and means Juve might not move to McKennie this summer after all. Another twist? McKennie has yet to appear in Juventus' pre-season tour of the United States of America, as he was an unused substitute in each of the games against Barcelona and Chivas Guadalajara. During the tour, Juve boss Max Allegri claimed that McKennie is working to get back to full fitness, so maybe there's nothing to read here, but it's a bit strange that Juventus haven't given him minutes to one of the best USMNT players. on your US tour, right? Perhaps they are not risking him getting injured as a transfer is imminent? McKennie seems quite happy at Juventus, but it seems inevitable that he will end up in the Premier League at some point. (JPW)
19 July: Tottenham finally chip in Djed Spence
Tottenham have finally confirmed the signing of 21-year-old Djed Spence from Middlesbrough, as the talented right-back/wing-back becomes Antonio Conte's sixth signing in the summer window. Spence came to the fore while on loan at Nottingham Forest last season and is believed to have signed with Spurs for an initial fee of $15m and the additions could take the deal to $24m. Spence is considered one of England's best young right-backs and will pressure Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty for a starting spot. Spence is exactly the type of right-back Conte loves in his 3-4-3 system and his attacking instincts will suit Spurs very well. (JPW)

Antonio Conte seems ready to landoa left-back who has desperately coveted this summer transfer window with French international Lengletsupposedlyundergo a medical examination in London. The 27-year-old is said to have spent the night at the Tottenham hotel at the club's training center.
While Ben Davies was certainly a standout (surprising) player at left-back in Conte's defense last season, Lenglet represents an upgrade in quality and his arrival instantly creates depth at a vitally important (and dangerous) spot. place in the Tottenham team. As is the case across the pitch, there will be plenty of games to play, spanning two condensed half-seasons on each World Cup side, with the five-change rule back in effect. (AE)
Jul 8 - Steven Bergwijn completes transfer from Ajax
Steven Bergwijn's long-term move to Ajax was completed after Tottenham announced the 24-year-old Dutch winger's departure on Friday. Spurs will receive $31.9 million from Ajax, almost identical to the $32 million they paid PSV Eindhoven to get them into the Premier League in January 2020. (AE)

July 1: Richarlison introduced by Tottenham
It's official! Antonio Conte added Richarlison to a strike group that already included Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Dejan Kulusevski.
Not a ridiculous gain for Everton, who bought Richarlison from Watford for $60m at the behest of manager Marco Silva, but the Toffees need the money after risking fouls in the Financial Fair Play.

17 June: Tottenham join Bissouma
Spurs aren't playing in the transfer market this summer, are they?
They have completed the signing of 25-year-old Yves Bissouma from Brighton and the transfer fee is believed to initially be $30m and could rise to $37m. Bissouma, a Mali international, had a year left on his contract at Brighton and that reduced his transfer fee. He is worth at least double what Spurs paid for him and the combative midfielder is exactly the sort of demolisher who will thrive in Antonio Conte's system.
🎙 “I am very happy to be here”

Sure, he's soft on the ball and also has a lot of game stability, but Bissouma's arrival adds more steel to the Tottenham squad and also more depth, as Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster have already arrived this summer. Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici are certainly delivering the signings that Conte wanted. This is a very smart addition from the Spurs. With Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur first choice in midfield and Oliver Skipp as well, Conte now has four high-quality options for his two midfield positions. This will go a long way in rotating the lineup from midweek Champions League games to weekend PL action. (JPW)

Cameron Carter-Vickers spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Celtic and enjoyed himself in Scotland, where he made 28 league appearances as the Bhoys regained the Scottish Premiership title from rivals Rangers.
