Back up your iPhone

It's important to back up your iPhone before doing any major restores (such as a DFU restore). If something goes wrong while trying to fix your iPhone, backing it up means you won't lose your data (like contacts, photos, apps, and more). Restoring from a backup is much more convenient than re-entering all the information stored on your iPhone.
